Cristiano Ronaldo has set new records in Friday's 3-3 stunning draw against Spain in his first match at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Within 4minutes, the Real Madrid striker found the back of the net from the penalty spot.
The goal was the fastest in a World Cup match since 1966, when Jose Augusto scored in the first minute of the fixture against Uruguay.
Also, Ronaldo has now scored in eight consecutive major tournaments, which include: World Cup, European Championships and Copa America - this has never been achieved before by any European or South American player.
Only Germany duo Uwe Seeler and Miroslav Klose and Brazil's Pele can boast of a comparable record at the World's most anticipated tournament.
Meanwhile, Ronaldo scored his 51st career Hat-trick (club & country) and also the 51st Hat-trick scored in World Cup history.
Although Portugal went all the way at Euro 2016, they haven’t been discussed among the favourites to lift the World Cup in Russia.
